Ensuring a consistent brand feel throughout a dynamic space such as a community centre, we employed established brand elements as ‘decoration’ for the John Godber Centre’s bar refurbishments.

As part of the same charity as that of St Mary Magdalene Church, next door, figures from the shared history and heritage were used to rename two bars which support event and social group activities at this busy and thriving event venue.

With such important names to conjure with as the poet Lord Byron and bare knuckle champion Ben Caunt (after whom it’s reputed the Westminster bell Big Ben is named), it was never in doubt that the refurbishment wouldn’t strike a chord with the local community and instil a sense of pride.
