To communicate the unification of a number of branches under a single trading name, Monkie created a new identity for Gillotts Funeral Directors.

With a nod to a past steeped in heritage, a smart and sophisticated new identity lifted the business away from a generic, typographic solution that lacked soul and refinement.

A new colour palette was also established, to add character without being unsympathetic to the formal business of providing a caring and compassionate service, for the deceased and bereaved.

Once finalised, the identity was expanded to create signage and decorative cues for multiple office sites of varying styles.
