The unstaffed site at Caerleon in Wales, was a Roman Fortress from about 75 to 300 AD and has considerable archaeological importance. The site was the scene of some gruesome activities and Monkie were charged with the task of interpreting these stories for its many visitors.

Using a mix of reconstructive illustrations and comic book story panels, we created a collection of interpretation boards that show what life was like for Roman gladiators and legionnaires far away from home, engaging and educating an audience of all ages.
