| Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Calendar 2009. It's no exaggeration to claim that this project was 'a year in the making', with a need to showcase the county through the seasons. But given that we're constantly collecting images of the wider region for both our own image library and commercial commisions, this didn't present too much of a problem. At Monkie we're in a fortunate position: with clients covering all corners of the county and beyond, we're constantly reminded of just how diverse and dynamic Nottinghamshire's sights are. So we were never going to be short of ideas for this project.
Whether waiting for the perfect sunrise; capturing the dazzling spectacle of Goose Fair; wading into rivers or scaling the heights of well known landmarks, the highlights were recorded and the difficult task of shortlisting began.
