A clever layout concept and engaging messaging was the order
of the day to help see off big-spending supermarket competition. Rhyming couplets tied in to image themes, created a fun and
informative environment and saw copies fly off the shelves nationwide.

With 235 stores in the UK alone, Mothercare are rightly a household name, and when commissioned by REEF to produce their Back to School catalogue, we jumped at the chance. 4 months later, 75,000 copies began flying off the shelves throughout the UK.

 

Given the much larger budgets of rival supermarket chains, a clever layout concept and engaging messaging was the order of the day to help see off the competition. Rhyming couplets tied in to image themes created a fun and informative environment in which to display product and pricing.

 

Partnering with Pendlebury Studios for the location photography, props, locations and models were all sourced and brought together whilst draft designs were considered. Changing product lines and prices, throughout the life of the project, meant keeping a constant eye on time and money, but neither schedule nor budget were compromised.
